Background: Tall Hats Catering (with Snackattack) was a business at the
crossroads. The popular sandwich shop
and commercial catering business was trying to renegotiate its Southgate Street
lease.

Challenge:
whilst in a prominent location, their present shop was very small and was split
over two floors. It had no car parking,
and the rent was about to increase significantly.

Solution:
Culverwell Consulting, their long-term property advisor, recommended a
different approach. They found a new
unit, out of the City Centre, but possessing spacious storage, preparation and
administration areas, plus parking – all for a fraction of the rent they would
have had to pay.

Benefit:
with costs down and space up, Tall Hats Catering’s business has left behind the
substandard city premises and moved in a direction that they had always
desired: their street presence has moved to a web- and phone-based service,
allowing them to offer customers queue-free lunches.
