Background: four Independent Financial Advisors were breaking away from a larger organisation and needed business premises.
Challenge: they wanted a building with the right amount of space, of an appropriate professional style, within fifteen miles of Brighton.
Solution: Culverwell researched, identified and negotiated the lease on their behalf. The most challenging aspects of the negotiation surrounded the age of the chosen building. Some of the interior was not in the best of condition, and we secured the landlord’s agreement to refurbish before occupancy. In addition, we ensured that our clients’ repair liability was limited to the space that they occupied.
Benefit: the four IFAs now occupy totally refurbished business premises, confident in the limit to their liability for the foreseeable future.
